Papyrus letter from Egypt in which Aurelius Dioskourides, strategos or the highest civil official in charge of taxation of the Hermopolites (Hermopolite Nome), Egypt, writes to Aurelius Nearcheides, official in charge of the fifteenth pagus, or division within a nome. Aurelius Dioskourides writes about the so-called public buyers and their purchases of coats, by which they upset the nome. Includes a list of these purchases, running into several columns(?). Dated to Pachon 13 of the consulate of Septimius Akindynos and Populonius Proculus (May 8, 340 A.D.)
