Petition from the Heracleopolite Nome, Egypt, written on papyrus. Written by Isidora to the strategos, the highest civil official in the region, of the Heracleopolite Nome. Isidora requests that the strategos execute a debt plus interest. She appends a memorandum from the chief judge (of all Egypt) to the strategos, which includes a copy of her original petition to him. The debtor is Areios. Isidora's husband whose name begins with "Ammon" assists her. Dated to Phamenoth of year 11 of Hadrian (Feb./Mar., 127 A.D.). Glued to a documentary text in Greek (P.Duk.inv. 781 R (a)). Verso has a description of land in Greek (P.Duk.inv. 781 V)
