Description

This papyrus contains the beginning of a letter addressed to a landowner (geouchos). The sender, Apa Hor, reports on the activities of one Peter, an assistant (boethos) connected with the Oxyrhynchite village of Tholthis. We learn that Peter entered a hamlet (epoikion) belonging to the landowner and perpetrated an act described by the verb epiasen.
