Description

Hugh Lloyd-Jones' note "Two people seem to have made an agreement involving the horses given by Zeus to Tros. Were these people Laomedon and Heracles, or a representative of Herakles? There is not enough of the text to make it woth while to speculate about the content. But we have found nothing here that Callimachus could not have written; and we have noticed several homericisms of just the kind we expect from him or one of his contemporaries. I Think the fragmnet deserves a place among the Dubia of the next edition of Callimachus"
