Description
The text is an oath submitted to Hierax, royal secretary and acting strategos of the Oxyrhynchite nome, by two men from Sephtha in the lower toparchy. They were nominated to a liturgical office by the village secretary of Sephtha and they now present the usual oath. They are to set up a reception center for the idiotikoi onoi. The liturgy is here attested for the first time.
