μετὰ τὴν ὑπατείαν Φλαυίου Βασιλίου τοῦ ἐνδοξοτάτου ἔτους ἕκτου , Φαρμοῦθι ϛ ἑνδεκάτης ἰνδικτίονος. τῷ θαυμασιωτάτῳ Διοσκόρῳ Ἀπολλῶτος, ἀπὸ κώμης Ἀφροδίτης τοῦ Ἀνταιοπολίτου νομοῦ, παρὰ Αὐρηλίου Ψαίου Σενουθίου ἐκ μητρὸς Ταπίας, γεωργοῦ μισθίου ἀπὸ κώμης Ἀράβωνος τοῦ Πανοπολίτου νομοῦ, τὰ νῦν διάγοντοςδιαγων ἐπὶ τῆς αὐτῆς κώμης Ἀφροδίτης, χαίρειν. ὁμολογῶ ἑτοίμως ἔχειν κουφίσασθαί σοι ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐμοῦ μισθοῦ τοῦ ὑπὲρ τῆς δωδεκάτης ὀφείλοντος λημφθῆναι παρὰ σοῦ, σίτου ἀρτάβας δέκα μέτρῳ σῷ, ὑπὲρ ἀναδοχῆς Ἀπολλῶτος τοῦ ὑδραγωγοῦ τοῦ καὶ ἐμοῦ γυναικαδέλφου, καὶ μὴ δύνασθαί με ἐνάξαι σοι περὶ τούτωντούτον ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τῆς ἀλοήσεωςἀλωήσεως τῆς σὺν Θεῷ ἐσομένης δωδεκάτης ἰνδικτίονος. καὶ εἰς σὴν ἀσφάλειαν πεποίημαι τοῦτο τὸ ἀσφαλὲς μεθʼ ὑπογραφῆς τοῦ ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ ὑπογράφοντος· καὶ ἐφʼ ἅπαντα ἐπερωτηθεὶς ὡμολόγησα. To the admirandissimus Dioskoros, son of Apollos, from the village of Aphrodite of the Antaiopolite nome, from Aurelius Psais (pap.: Psaios), son of Shenoute (pap.: Senouthios), of the mother Tapia, tenant farmer, from the village of Arabon in the Panopolite nome, now living in the same village Aphrodite, greetings. I confirm that I am ready to cancel your debt from my rent that is owed for the twelfth (indiction) to be taken from you, ten artabae of grain according to your measure, for the security of Apollos, the water carrier and my wife’s brother; and that I am not allowed to accuse you about this in the time of threshing of the, God willing, future twelfth indiction. and for your security I have made this security with the signature of the one who subscribed for me and having been asked about all these I consented.
