μετὰ τὴν ὑπατείαν Φλαυίου Βασιλίου τοῦ ἐνδοξοτάτου ἔτους ὀγδόου, Μεσορὴ κα ιγ ἰνδικτίονος. Φλαυίῳ Διοσκόρῳ Ἀπολλῶτος τῷ θαυμασιωτάτῳ, ἀπὸ κώμης Ἀφροδίτης τοῦ Ἀνταιοπολίτου νομοῦ Ψάις Βησίου, ἐκ μητρὸς Τασάϊς, πρεσβύτερος ἀπὸ τῆς αὐτῆς κώμης Ἀφροδίτης, χαίρειν. ὁμολογῶ διὰ ταύτης μου τῆς ἐγγράφου ἀσφαλείας ὀφείλειν σοι καὶ χρεωστεῖν ἐν καθαρῷ καὶ ἀναμφιβόλῳἀναμφιβρόχῳἀναμφιβόχῳ, ὑπὲρ σπορᾶς καὶ φόρου καὶ ἀρδεύσεωςἀρτεύσεως ἀρουρῶν τριῶν σπειρομένων μοι παρὰ σοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ τόπου Ἀθανασίας, διακειμένου ἐν περισύνῳπερισύνου σιτοφόρῳσιτοφόρου γῃδίῳγῃδίου, ἐγγὺς λιπαρᾶς γῆς, εἰς κατάθεσιν πυροῦ ἐπὶ τοῦ γενήματος σὺν Θεῷ τεσσαρεσ καιδεκάτης ἰνδικτίονος, χρυσοῦ νομίσματα δύο τρίτον καὶ σίτου ἀρτάβην μίαν ιφ δύο ?. καὶ ταῦτα ἑτοίμως ἔχω καταβαλεῖν σοι εἰς τὴν τρίτην καταβολὴν τοῦ δημοσίου, πρῶτον μὲν τὰ δύο νομίσματα , τὸ δὲ τρίτον ἐπὶ τοῦ γενήματος τῆς αὐτῆς τρεισκαιδεκάτηςτρισκαιδεκάτης ἰνδικτίονος, τά προκείμενα νομίσματα ἕκαστον παρὰ κεράτια δύο , δίχα τινὸς ἀπάτης, ὑποκειμένης πάσης μου ὑποστάσεως ἄχρι πληρώσεως· καὶ ἐφʼ ἅπαντα ἐπερωτηθεὶς ὡμολόγησα· τῶν δὲ σίτων ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τῆς ἀλοήσεωςἀλωήσεως σὺν Θεῷ τῆς αὐτῆς ιδ ἰνδικτίονος. ἰνδικτίονος. To the admirandissimus Flavius Dioskoros, son of Apollos, from the village of Aphrodite of the Antaiopolite nome. † (From) Psais, son of Besis (pap. Besios) and Tasais, priest from the same village of Aphrodite, greetings. I acknowledge through this written security of mine that I owe and I am indebted to you, in earnest and undoubtedly, for the sowing and the rent and the irrigation or my three arourae seeded by you, from the Athanasias topos, situated at the adjacent corn-bearing piece of land, near fruitful land, so that I have it for the payment in wheat in the time of the produce of the, God willing, fourteenth indiction, two and one third gold solidi and one artaba of grain … two … and I am ready to pay them to you for the third payment of the tax; first the two … and the third in the time of the harvest of the same thirteenth indiction, the aforementioned solidi, each minus two carats, free from any deceit, and with all my personal property subjected until the payment.
