καὶ ὁμολογῶ μηδένα λόγον ἔχειν μὴ πρὸς τὸ εὐαγὲς ὑμῶν μοναστήριον, μὴ πρὸς τοὺς εἰρημένους εὐλαβεστάτους μονάζοντας καὶ ἀποκρισιαρίους Μηνᾶν καὶ Ἰωάννην, τοὺς καὶ ἐκθεμένους τὸ αὐτὸ γραμμάτιον, μὴ πρὸς ἄλλον τινὰ διαφέροντα τῷ αὐτῷ μοναστηρίῳ, μὴ περὶ τοῦ προαναφερομένου ἀγοραίου γραμματίου ἤτοι τῶν ἐν αὐτῷ ἐμφερομένων οἴνου κνιδίων χιλίων πεντακοσίων γραφήν τινα τὸ γραμμάτιον ομινας, μὴ περὶ ἑτέρου τινὸς τὸ σύνολον, ταύτης ἕνεκα τῆς αἰτίας. ἀλλὰ καὶ προσομολογῶ λονυ ἀναδιδόναι ὑμῖν τὸ μνημο νευθὲν γραμμάτιον δίχα πάσης ἀντιλογίας καὶ μετεωρίας καὶ ἀγνοίας, ἠγοῦν, μένον παρʼ ἐμοὶ καὶ μὴ ἀναδιδόμενον, ἀργὸν αὐτὸ καὶ ἕωλον καὶ ἀνίσχυρον εἶναι, προφερόμενον παρά τε ἐμοῦ καὶ ἑτέρου οἵου δήποτε προσώπου, ἐν δικαστηρίῳ καὶ ἐκτὸς δικαστηρίου, καὶ ἀζημίους καὶ ἀνενοχλήτους καὶ ἀβλαβεῖς καὶ ἀπεριστάτους φυλάττεινφυλάττιν ὑμᾶς καὶ τὸ εὐαγὲς ὑμῶν μοναστήριον καὶ πάντας τοὺς αὐτῷ διαφέροντας, ταύτης ἕνεκα τῆς αἰτίας, ἐνόχους ἐν τούτῳ προσκαταστήσας καὶ τοὺς ἐμοὺς κληρονόμους καὶ παντοίους διαδόχους. καὶ πρὸς ἀσφάλειαν καὶ ἀπόδειξιν ὑμῶν καὶ τοῦ εὐαγοῦς μοναστηρίου Πουινκώρεως πεποίημαι ταύτην τὴν ὁμολογίαν τῆς ἀσφαλείας, κυρίαν οὖσαν καὶ βεβαίαν πανταχοῦ προφερομένην, ἔν τε δικαστηρίῳ καὶ ἐκτὸς δικαστηρίου, μεθʼ ὑπο γραφῆς ἐμῆς καὶ τῶν ἐξ αἰτήσεως ἐμῆς προσμαρτυρησάντων ἐν αὐτῇ· καὶ εἰς τὰ προγεγραμμένα πάντα καὶ εἰς ἕκαστον αὐτῶν ἐπερωτηθεὶς ἐγὼ ὁ μνημονευθεὶς Θεόδωρος ἐπίσκοπος παρὰ σοῦ Ἰωάννου τοῦ εὐλαβεστάτου μονάζοντος καὶ ἀποκρισιαρίου, εἰς πρόσωπόν σοι ὡμολόγησα. ἐγράφη μοναχὴ καθὼς ἤρεσεν. And I further acknowledge … to hand over to you the aforementioned document without any controversy, or delay or neglect, or rather (the document), staying with me, unreturned, to be worthless, pointless and invalid, produced either by me or any other person, in the court and outside of the court, and to keep you free from penalty, undisturbed, blameless and unapproached – you and your holy monastery and everyone belonging to it; for that reason Ι bond to this my heirs and successors of all kinds. And for security and guarantee of yours and holy monastery of Pouinkoreus, I have made this acknowledgement of security which is valid and firm wherever it is produced, both inside and outside of court, along with my signature on it and of those who acted as witnesses at my request.
