ον ὅτι παρὰ τοῦ Δανάου υἱοῦ ἀπεστάλη καὶ ἐγράφη πρὸς τοῦτον σὲ τοῦ Ξαν δικοῦ · κη ἔτους παρά τε Ἀπολλοδότου καὶ Κρατί νου τοῦ Δανάου ἵνα οἰκονομηθῆι δοθέντων ταλάντων εἴκοσι τῶι βασιλεῖ, ὁ δʼ ἀποσταλεὶς οὐκ ἀποδέδωκεν αὐτῶισοι τὰ γράμματα, ἀλλʼ ἔστι ἐν Ἀλεξανδρείαι σκηνῶν ἐν τοῖς Ἀριστοβούλου φθειρόμενος· ὄνομα δʼ ἐστὶ αὐ τῶι Ἡδύλος· καὶ ὅτι Πάγκρις ὁ μετὰ Δανάου διατρίβων διʼ Ἐπικύδους αἰτεῖται τὴν νομοφυ λακίαν, ὁ δὲ εἰς τοῦτον σὲ βάλλεται. ἵνα οὖν μηθὲν αὐ τῶι γένηται τῶν φιλανθρώπων· ἔστι γὰρ ἀλλότριος καὶ διαβάλλων ὡς διὰ τούτουσοι τὰ περὶ Δάναον γέγονεν. λαβὲ δʼ ἡμῖν ἐπιστολὰς παρʼ αὐτοῦ πρὸς Ἀπολ λόδοτον καὶ Λάαγον καὶ Ἱκέσιον, ἔστωσαν δὲ ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν φιλάνθρωποι, καὶ αὐτὸς δὲ γράψον. λαβὲ δὲ καὶ πρὸς Ἰάσονα τὸν τραπεζίτην ὅτι διαλέλυται ἡμῶν ἐντυχόντων· γέγραφε γὰρ καὶ πρὸς Ἀπολλόδοτον. ἐπεὶ ὑπὲρ
