Σισοῦχος Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. καὶ πρότερον γεγραφηκὼς περὶ Πτολεμαίου τοῦ υἱοῦ ὅπως ἂν ἐπιστείληις τοῖς περὶ Ἑρμάφιλον καὶ Πύθωνα τὸν τραπεζίτην κατατάξαι αὐτὸν πρὸς γράμμασιν, αὐτὸν δὲ τὸν Πτολεμαῖον ἀπέσταλκα πρὸς σέ. ἐὰν οὖν σοι φαίνηται, καλῶς ποιήσεις γράψας οἷς ἂν σὺ δοκιμάζηις, ἵνα κατα ταγῆι πρὸς γράμμασιν ἑτέρῳ δὲ μηθενὶ μέρει προσαχθῆι, ὀψώνιον δὲ τὸ καλῶς ἔχον λαμβάνηι. ἔρρωσο. ἔτους λθ, Χοίαχ ι.
