ἔτους τρίτου καὶ εἰκοστοῦτριακοστοῦ Μάρκου Αὐρηλίου Κομμόδου Ἀντωνίνου Σεβαστοῦ μηνὸς Δαισίου Φαρμοῦθι ιδ ἐπὶ τoῦ διέ ποντος τὰ γραφεῖα τῆς μη τροπόλεως καὶ κωμῶνκομῶν τῶν γτῶν τριῶν μερίδων ἐν ἀγορᾷ Κερκεσούχων ἐν Κερκεσούχοις. ὁμολογεῖ Ἀφροδείσιος Ὡρίωνος ὡς ἔτων οὐλὴ ὀφρύιὀφρύει δεξιᾷ ἀπὸ Μ τῆς Πολέμωνος μερίδος ῆτι ΜέλανοςΜέλλανος πεπ ρακέναι αὐτῷ ὄνον θήλειαν λευκὴν τελεί αν ἀναπόρριφονἀναπόριφον. ἀπέχ ειν τιμὴν ἀργυρίου δραχμὰς διακοσίας τεσσαράκοντα βεβαιοῖβεβεοῖ.Translations (1)
In the twenty-third year of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius Commodus Antoninus Augustus, in the month of Daesius on Pharmouthi 14, during the administration of the offices of the metropolis and villages of the three divisions in the market of Kerkeosiris in Kerkeosiris, Aphrodisius son of Horion acknowledges, being of years [...] with a scar on the right brow from the division of Polemon, namely Melanus, that he has sold him a white female donkey, complete and without blemish.
