ἀνέγνωσται ἔτους κγ Παχὼν ιδ. Ἀσφεῖ ποταμοφύλακι· Λεωνίδου ναυκλήρου τοῦ Κάστορος κερκούρου καὶ Μάρωνος ἐπ’ αὐτῶι ἐπίπλου δόντων ἡμῖν ὑπόμνημα ὑπὲρ τοῦ τῆι τοῦ Φαρμοῦθι περὶ ὥραν ὁρμοῦντος τοῦ πλοίου ἐπὶ τοῦ κατ’ Ἀγκυρῶν πόλιν ὅρμου ἐπιθεμένους τινὰς ἐπὶ τὸ προωνομασμένον πλοῖον τ ὠιχῆσθαι ἔχοντας λα.3ε ὧν εἶναι τὴν διατίμησιν εἰς χαλκοῦ τάλαντα κδ μεου κατακαῦσαι γίνονται τάλαντα λ τωνν ἀποκατα στάσεως τῆς λείας, τοῦ δὲ τοιούτου οὐδὲ μέχρι τοῦ παρόντος γεγενημένου τό τε πλοῖον ἐφορμεῖ οὐ δυνάμενον ἐκρίναμεν τῶν ναυτικῶν προφερομένων μὴ ἂν δύνασ θαι καταπλεῦσαι ἐξ Ἀγκυρῶν πόλεως κω κλαπέντ πάλιν διαε κ φροντίσαι άζω

Read year 23, Pachon 14. (in a second hand) To Aspheus, potamophylax. Leonidas, nauklêros of Kastor’s boat, and Maron, …, epiplous on it, submitted to us a report: on the [ --- ] of Pharmouthi, around the [ --- ] hour, while the ship was at anchor in the harbor of Ankyron Polis, certain individuals set upon the aforementioned ship… and left with… the value of which is 24 (?) talents of bronze… and they burned (?)… a total of 30 talents. …the return of the stolen goods; but as this has not happened up to the present time, the ship is still at anchor, with the sailors claiming that they are unable to sail down (?) from Ankyron Polis… stolen… again… to take care….
