Αὐρηλίοις Ἀδελφίῳ γυμνασιάρχοις βουλευταῖς Ἑρμοῦ πόλεως τῆς μεγάλης καὶ λαμπροτάτηςτῆς λαμπροτάτης παρὰ Αὐρηλίου Ἁρποκρα σαντος ἑαυτὸν ἄτερ μισοπονηρίας ἀνήνεγκε διὰ λιβέλλων τ τὸν κατὰ νόμους κ ἐπίτροπον ἀποδεῖξαι ἀποδημίᾳ ἀξιῶν τοῖς υἱοῖς ἴδμου κατα στῆσαι τούτοις. ἔστι δέ·ν π μέλλων τὴν μοῖραν νο σφισάντων δίμοιρον νος Ἰβόϊς τις πανοῦργος εἰς τὰ ὄσπρεα τῆς γῆς ἁρπάζειν ὅθεν κατὰ τὴν ξυλ ἀξιῶν κελεῦσαι ἐπίτροπον κατασταθῆναι τοῖς υἱοῖς εὐθύνας ἀπαιτῆσαι Ἰβόϊν ὧν ἀφήρπασεν εμ χάριτας τῇ περὶ πάντα σου προνοίᾳ ὁμολογήσω. διευτύχει. ὑπατείας τῶν δεσποτῶν ἡμῶν Λικινίου Σεβαστοῦ τὸ ϛ καὶ Λικινίου τοῦ ἐπιφανεστάτου Καίσαρος τὸ β ὑφέστηκεν τοῖς παισὶ ὑπομνησ δύνου μεμνημένοι ἀποδημία ἕως τούτων. διευτυχεῖτε. ὑπατείας τῆς προκειμένης Φαῶφι λ. To the Aurelii, gymnasiarchs and councillors of the great and most splendid city of Hermes, from Aurelius Harpochras, who presented himself without blame through applications to appoint [a guardian] lawfully during [his] absence, considering it proper for the sons to establish these. [It is noted], having in mind the portion of those who had wronged, a certain Iberian impudent person was seizing the fruits of the earth, from which according to [restored words] considering it proper to order a guardian to be appointed for the sons to require settlement from Iberian for what he has robbed. I will acknowledge thanks through all your providence. Farewell. During the consulship of our lords, Licinius Augustus the sixth and Licinius, the most illustrious Caesar the second, [a guardian] has been assigned to the children recollecting absence until now. Farewell. During the consulship as stated above, on the [...] of Phaophi, Aurelius Harpochras has submitted.
