α ομαι γρα αι εἰς ἀνἀνἈντιόχειαν δὲ θέλω ἀσ ἀ ποδοθῆναι ἄν θρωπος εἰς τὴν ὑπάρχου σαν οἰκίαν ἀποδ ἵνα εἰς χεῖρας ἔλθῃ ᾧ ἐγὼ θέ λωωδηλῶ. τούτου χάριν τῷ ἐπισκό πῳ τῆς Λαυδικίας τῆς πρὸ δύο μονῶν Ἀντιοχείας ἀ ποδοθῆναι αὐτὰ θέλω καὶ ἐ κεῖνοςκἀκεῖνος ἀσφαλῶς αὐτὰ πέμψειπέμ πει τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ᾧ βουλο μαι. τὸν ΧριστόνΧρειστόν σοι. σὺ οὖν συ ἄπελθεσυνάπελθε πρὸς τὸν ἄν θρωπον καὶ εἰς χεῖρας δὸςδοὺς αὐτῷ τὸ γράμμα εἰρηνικόν. διὰ τούτου ἵνα εἰς χεῖρας Θεοδότῳ τῷ ἐπισκόπῳ τῆς Λαυδικίας ἀποδῷ· οὕτως γὰρ ἔχει καὶ ἡ ἐπιγραφή. ἐπεὶἐπὶ δὲ δύο εἰσὶν ΛαυδικίαιΛαυδίκιεΛαυδίκιαι, μία τῆς Φρυγίας καὶ μία ἡ κα τὰ Συρίαν α πρὸς τὴν Λαυδίκιαν τῆς κοίλης Συρίας τῆς πρὸ δύο μονῶν Ἀντιοχείας· ἐκεῖ ἐστιν Θεόδοτος ὁ ἐπίσκοπος· αὐτὰ οὖν ἀπόδος σω ἄδελφε ἀσύγκριτε.Translations (1)
I wish to write to Antioch, to have a person returned(?) to the existing house so that it may come into the hands of whom I desire to declare. For this reason, I wish these things to be returned to the bishop of Laodicea, the one by the two [territories] of Antioch, and he will safely send them to the person whom I will. To Christ [I commend you]. Therefore, go to the person and in hands give him the peaceful letter, so that through this it may be given into the hands of Theodotus, the bishop of Laodicea; for thus the inscription is complete. Since there are two Laodiceas, one of Phrygia and one in Syria, go to the Laodicea of Coele-Syria, the one by the two [territories] of Antioch; there is Theodotus the bishop; therefore, return them, incomparable brother.
