Ἰσίδωρος Χενανοῦβι τῇ μη τρὶ πλεῖσταΧενανοῦβι πλεῖστα χαίρειν. πρὸ πάντων εὔχομαί σε ὑγι αίνειν. ἰδού, πολλὰ ἐνετει λάμεθα τῷ πατρί μου περὶ σοῦ ὅπως σὲἵνʼ εἰς σὲ ἐνέγκῃ μετʼ αὐτοῦ εἰς τοὺς γάμους τῆς θυγατρός σου ἐπεὶ ἄνευ ὑημῶνὑνμων oὐἐπανενέγκων ὃ μελ λομενμέλλομεν αὐτὴν αὐτῇ ἐκδοῦναιἐγδοῦναι. ὅρα, μὴ οὖν ἄλλως ποιήσῃς καὶ λυπήσῃς ἡμᾶς. ἀνάδοςἀπόδος Χενανοῦβι ἀπὸ ἸσιδώρουTranslations (1)
Isidoros to Chenanoubis, many greetings to my mother Chenanoubis. First of all, I pray that you are in good health. Behold, we have made many requests to my father concerning you, so that he might carry [me] with him to the marriage of your daughter since, without you, we cannot [...] what we intend to give her.
