βασιλεῖ Πτολεμαίωι χαίρειν Λάστρατος Μακεδὼν τριακοντάρουρος τῆς ϛ χιλιαρχίας. ἀδικοῦμαι ὑπὸ Παν ταύχου vestiges -αρούρου. ἐμοῦ γὰρ καταμεμετρημένου τὸν κλῆρον περὶ Ἀρ σινόην τὴν κατὰ Σεβέννυτον Πανταύχου δὲ καταμεμετρημένου περὶ Σεβέννυτον, καὶ διεσταλμένης ἡμῖν ὁδοῦ βασιλικῆς ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ὁρίων τῶν κλήρων ἡμῶν διὰ τὸ καὶ διεστάλθαι ἡμῶν τοὺς κλήρους ἐν τοῖς πεδίοις τῶν προγεγραμμένων κωμῶν ντεικοτωνμων τῆι γῆι νυνὶνυνεὶ Πάνταυχος ἐπιβὰς ἐπὶ τὴν κοινὴν ἡμῶν μενη ὁδὸν βασιλικὴν καταροτριᾶι καὶ οἷός ἐστιν κατασπείρειν αὐ τὴν κεκυδευειν δι’ αὐτῆς. δέομαι οὖν σου, βασιλεῦ, προστάξαι Δι οφάνει τῶι στρατηγῶι γράψαι Ὥρωι τῶι βασιλικῶι γραμματεῖ συναποστεῖλαί μοι γεωμέτρην ὃς παραδείξει ἡμῖν τὰ ὅρια τῶν κλήρων καὶ διαστελεῖ τὴν βασι λικὴν ὁδόν. τούτου γὰρ γενομένου οὐκ ἀδικηθήσομαι ἀλλ’ ἐπὶ σὲ κατα φυγών, βασιλεῦ, τοῦ δικαίου τεύξομαι. εὐτύχει. To King Ptolemy, greetings. Lastratos, the Macedonian, a land-holder of thirty arouras of the sixth chiliarchy. I am wronged by Pantauchos [...] aroura. For I have measured my plot around Arsinoe near Sebennytos, and Pantauchos' [plot] has been measured near Sebennytos. We had marked a royal road between the boundaries of our plots because our plots had been distinguished in the fields of the aforementioned villages. Despite this, Pantauchos has encroached upon our common royal road and dares to sow and [...] through it. I therefore beseech you, King, to order Diophanes the general to write to Horos the royal scribe to send me a surveyor who will indicate our boundary markers and distinguish the royal road. When this is done, I will no longer be wronged but will seek justice through you, King. Farewell. To Horos, show clearly to each their rightful boundaries.
