ανοὺς ΠετεσούχουΠουό μετὰ κυρίου τοῦ συν γενοῦς Μελανᾶς τοῦ Πεθέως Διοδώ ρᾳΔιοδώρᾳ Πεθέως χαίρειν. ἀπέχω παρὰ σοῦ τὰς διαταγείσαςαγείσας μοι ὑπὸ τοῦ πατρὸς μου κατὰ διαθήκην ἀργυρίου δραχμὰς ἑξήκοντα ὀκτώ γίνονται ξη καὶ οὐδὲν σοι ἐνκαλῶ περὶ οὐδενὸς ἁπλῶς πράγματος. ἔγραψα ὑπὲρ αὐτῆς μὴ εἰδυίαςἰδυίης γράμματα. ἔτους δευτέρου καὶ εἰκοστοῦ Ἀντωνίνου Καίσαρος τοῦ κυρίου Μεχε ὶρ εἰκάδι. Μελανᾶς ὁ προκίμενος ἔγραψαἔγραχαπεπραχα τὸ σῶμα.Translations (1)
Anous, (son) of Petesuchus, Puo, with the lord of the same tribe Melanas, (son) of Petheus, greetings to Diodorus (son) of Petheus. I have received from you the specified sixty-eight drachmas of silver according to the testament of my father, making sixty-eight, and I make no complaint against you concerning any matter whatsoever. I have written on behalf of her who is unaware of these letters. In the twenty-second year of Caesar Antoninus the lord, in the month of Mecheir, on the twentieth day. Melanas, the aforementioned, I have written; the agreement has been executed.
