Λούκιος Οὐαλέριος Πρόκλος ἔπαρχος Αἰγύπτου λέγει· συνηθειηε παρῳχηκότα τῶν πρα α συνιστάμεθα μὴ καταλείπειν ἀσυν ἐκέλευσα τοῖς ἐν τῶι λευκώματι αμεῖναι τοῖς διαδικαζομένοις καθα δικαιοδοσίας καὶ ἦν μὲν ἄξιον του δικάζεσθαι, ἀλλὰ ἄμεινον ἡγησά μεθα παραγείνηται καὶ τὸ ἕτερον ἀνα τὸν κριτὴν κηρύξας τὸν ἀναχωρή σαντααναχωρη ρ μήτε ἐκδίκου ἔχοι τῇ ἰδίᾳἰδείᾳ νπντα προτεθήτω. ἔτους Αὐτοκράτορος Καίσαρος Τίτου Αἰλίου Ἁδριανοῦ Ἀντωνί νου Σεβαστοῦ Εὐσεβοῦς Φαμενὼθ ιδ. καὶ καθημένωνικαθημένων ἐν συμβουλίῳ ἐν τῷ πραιτωρί ῳπρατωρίῳπραιτωρίῳ τοῦ κρατίστου ἡγεμόνος ἐν τῆι Θαισαρίου διαγνώσει λου, Ἰουνίου Κρίσπου καὶ Ἀτειλίου Σεστιανοῦ, Ἰουλίου Ἐπιμάχου εἴληςειλης, Ἰουλίου Σερήνου καὶ Τείλιου Ἰουλίου Κράσσου, Φλαουίου Φλαουι ανοῦ Ἰουλιανοῦ Ἵππωνος, Ἰουλίου Ἀπολ ουελίου Ἰούστου, Αὐφιδίου Νικηφό ρου ου Φαύστου, Καλπουρνίου Αἰμιλιανοῦ Ἱερωνύμου.Translations (1)
Lucius Valerius Proclus, prefect of Egypt, speaks: It became habitual for past matters [...] we are set up not to leave unfinished the tasks which I commanded those who are in the record to perform for those in litigation as per judgements, and though it was necessary for him to be judged, rather we considered it better that he be presented, and the other [restored words] to the judge proclaiming the one who retreated may neither hold towards himself [...] let it be put forward.
