Τούρβων Κλέωνι τῶι τιμιωτάτωι χαίρειν. πάνυ ἥσθην ἀκούων σε ἐν τῷ Θεινίτῃ διάγειν καὶ συνήδομαί γε τῷ φίλῳ σου κηδεμόνι ἀγαθῷ καὶ ἐπιεικε στάτῳἐπικεστάτῳ εἰς τὰ πραγμάτια ἑαυτοῦ αμενῳ. Σωτῆ ρα δέ, ἐξ οὗ τὴν ἀφορμὴν ἔσχον ἐπιστεῖλαί σοι, παρατίθεμαί σοι, ἄδελ φε, ἵνα ὁρᾳς αὐτὸν ὡς Σερῆνον τὸν μικρὸνμεικρὸν ἡμῶν ἀδελφόν, οὐ μόνον διὰ τὸ ἦθος τὸ χρηστὸν ἄξιον τοῦ τυχεῖν ἀλλὰ καὶ Κλέωνι γραμματεῖ στρατηγοῦ Ὀξυρυγχίτου παρὰ Τούρβωνος βοηθοῦ Φιλοξένου καθολικοῦ γραμματέως διοικητοῦ.
