υ μὴ ὄκνειὄκνι μοι γράφειν καὶ περὶ ὧν ἐ ὰν χρείαν ἔχῃς ἐντεῦ θεν ἐλυπήθηνἐλοιπήθην ἐπιγνοῦ σα παρὰ τῆς θυγατρὸς τοῦ καθηγητοῦ ἡμῶν Διογένους καταπεπλευ κέναι αὐτόν· ἠμερίμνουν γὰρ περὶ αὐτοῦ εἰδυῖα ὅ τι κατὰ δύναμιν μέλλει σοι προσέχειν. ἐμέλησε δέ μοι πέμψαι καὶ πυθέ σθαι περὶ τῆς ὑγιείαςὑγίας σου καὶ ἐπιγνώναι τί ἀναγιγνώ σκειςἀναγεινωσκεις. καὶ ἔλεγεν τὸ ζῆτα, ἐμαρτύρει δὲ πολλὰ πε ρὶ τοῦ παιδαγωγοῦ σου. ὥστε οὖν, τέκνον, μελη σάτω σοί τε καὶ τῷ παιδα γωγῷ σου καθήκοντι κα θηγητῇ σε παραβάλλειν. ἀσπάζονταί σε πολλὰ αἱ ἀδελφαί σου καὶ τὰ ἀβάσ καντα παιδία Θεωνίδος καὶ οἱ ἡμέτεροι πάντες κατʼ ὄνομα. ἄσπασαι τὸν τιμιώτατοντειμιώτατον παιδαγω γόν σου Ἔρωτα. ταιδ ἐρρ Ἁθὺρ β Πτολεμαίῳ υἱῶι.Cross-references (3)
