Description

Fragment of vessel: fragment from the upper section of a base of inverted-trumpet form, perhaps from an amphora with ovoid body. The dark-blue glass is undecorated but its surface is heavily corroded. The base, which is hollow, still preserves on its underside a mandril mark. The walls are relatively heavy implying that the vessel was large.
