In the twenty-first year of Imperator Caesar Traianus Hadrianus Augustus, on the 29th of the month of Dystros/Tybi, in Kerkesoucha of the Herakleides division of the Arsinoite nome. Akas, son of Herakleides, about 28 years old, scar on his (left/right) knuckle (?), from the quarter of Plateia, acknowledges to Heron, son of Hermas, about 55 years old, scar on the right side of his forehead, that he has sold to him an adult, male, white (?) donkey, not to be returned. He has received the price of one hundred seventy six silver drachmas. He guarantees (the sale). Subscriber for the buyer: PN, son of PN; the other party knows letters.
