Description

Monochrome handle: in translucent sapphire-blue glass. The loop shape suggests that it is from the shoulder of an amphora perhaps with pointed body. Both surfaces of the handle are inlaid with fine light-blue and yellow threads flush with the surface which must have been put in position before the handle was shaped. Glossy surface.
