Description
A miniature terracotta copy of an Egyptian wine-amphora of AE 3 type, with a tapering body, ribbed neck and two high-placed handles; the mouth indicated as sealed. Modelled on one side only, the rear rounded. Solid; pressed into a one-piece mould, the back smoothed with fingers. Micaceous orange-brown Nile silt.
