Description

Der Schreiber dieses Geschäftsbriefes aus dem 12. Jahrhundert n. Chr. fordert auf der Randbeschreibung den Adressaten auf, für den Handel Baumwolle (al-kattān) zu kaufen ( إن اشتریت شيء للتجارة فاشتري الكتان ). Auf der Rückseite befindet sich der Adressteil. Der Absender ist ein gewisser Hūd b. Aḥmad b. Ǧaʿfar. (A. Kamal, S. Metz) Diese Dokumentation ist das Ergebnis eines Forschungsprojektes der Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA).
