Description
Pachtdokumente solcher Art mit ihrem spezifischen Formular sind typisch für das dritte und vierte islamische Jahrhundert: „dessen Grundsteuer obliegt …“, fa-ḫarāǧ lāzim … . Jener Formel folgt in der Regel das Datum. Im hier vorliegenden fragmentarischen Dokument ist leider nur die Zahl 212 (iṯnā ʿašara wa miʾatay) vorhanden. Da diese Zahl aufgrund ihrer Position im Schreiben nur zum Datum gehören kann, ist dieses Fragment auf das Jahr 827/828 n. Chr. zu datieren. A. Kamal, S.
