Description

Dies ist eine koptische Bannbulle in der Form eines Briefes. Johannes, der Bischof von Eschmunein, belegt eine Gruppe von Einbrechern mit kirchlichen Flüchen: "...unter den Fluch des Gesetzes und der Propheten und aus dem Munde der 318 Bischöfe, die sich in Nicaea versammelt haben." Der Text ist im sahidischen Dialekt des Koptischen auf Papier nach dem 9. Jahrhundert n. Chr. verfasst worden. (V. Lepper)
