Description
Keramikgefäße aus Kerma wie auch andere Fundstücke weisen sowohl nubische als auch ägyptische Formen und Herstellungsmethoden auf. Die ägyptischen Gefäße, welche vermutlich auf dem Handelsweg aus Ägypten nach Kerma kamen, stellen jedoch nur einen geringen Anteil von 11,5 % dar, zu denen auch dieses geschlossene Gefäß mit kugeligem Körper und Rundboden zählt. Es wurde zusammen mit einer der Nebenbestattungen im großen Tumulusgrab K III gefunden und stand zusammen mit anderen Keramikgefäßen in einer Ecke der Grabkammer.
