Description

Eine Lotosblüte zwischen zwei Knospen ziert die Ringplatte, die aus violetter Fayence gefertigt ist. Im Alten Ägypten stand der Lotos symbolisch für den Zyklus der Natur; solche Motive verliehen den Ringen daher einen magischen Charakter. Nach: Mettlen, J., in: F.
