Description

Garn wurde auf einer Spule zu einem Knäuel aufgewickelt. Bei dem hier abgebildeten Objekt handelt es sich um eine wiederverwendete Topfscherbe, was an dem noch vorhandenen Schnurdekor sowie der leichten Biegung der Wandung zu erkennen ist. Das gesponnene Garn lieferte das Ausgangsmaterial für die Weberei, welche in Achet-Aton durch zahlreiche Funde von Webinstrumenten belegt ist. Nach: Weber, A.; Wegner, E., in: F.
