Description
Zur Verzierung von Architekturelementen wie Architrave, Kioske und Hausfassaden dienten Applikationen aus verschiedenen Materialien. Neben floralen Motiven wurden vielfach Weintrauben aus Fayence als Dekor verwendet. Eine große Zahl solcher Objekte fand sich bei der Grabung der DOG in Achet-Aton, wie die hier abgebildete halbe Weintraube zeigt. Nach: Taschner, L., in: F.
