Description
Der Uschebtikasten hat die Form eines Pfostensarges. Der Name des Besitzers fehlt, wie für diese Zeit nicht unüblich. Der Deckel trägt die Darstellung eines Bootes, welches für die anstehende Reise durch die Unterwelt gedacht war. An den Längsseiten sind die vier Horussöhne dargestellt, die für den Schutz der Eingeweide des Verstorbenen zuständig sind. Die Schmalseiten zeigen die Göttin Isis bzw. den Balsamierungsgott Anubis vor dem mumifizierten Toten. (Jan Moje)
