Description

Bei dem Objekt handelt es sich um ein Steingewicht, das drei Gold-Deben wiegt, was aus der Inschrift auf der Vorderseite hervorgeht. Ein Gold-Deben entsprach im Alten Reich einem modernen Gewicht von 13,6 g. Der feinkörnige Stein, die ziseliert eingearbeitete Inschrift und die Politur lassen vermuten, dass es sich um ein besonderes Stück handelte, welches wohl zum Aufwiegen von Leichtmetallen und Schmuck genutzt wurde.
