Description
Minutoli, in dunkelrotem Gewand, sitzt rechts im Zelt. Das Gemälde basiert auf einer Zeichnung von Minutoli und gehörte durch die Heirat von Minutolis Enkelin mit einem der Grafen von Pfeil und Klein-Ellguth bis 1945 zur Kunstsammlung von Schloss Friedersdorf/Queis. Es tauchte 1987 auf dem Münchner Kunstmarkt auf und wurde vom Verein zur Förderung des Ägyptischen Museums Berlin e.V. erworben. Der letzte Eigentümer verzichtete zu Gunsten des Vereins auf seine Rechte. (Klaus Finneiser)
