Dieser sogenannte „Kanopenkrug“ diente zur Beisetzung des mumifizierten Magens der Verstorbenen, einer Enkelin von Pharao Takelot II. Der Schakalskopf des Deckels verweist dabei auf den Horussohn Duamutef, der mit seinen drei Brüdern für den Schutz der Eingeweide zuständig war. Ein vollständiges Set Kanopen besteht aus vier Krügen.
