Gipsmodellkopf eines Königs (Plaster model of a king)
Description
Der Porträtkopf zeigt wohl ein älteres Gesicht mit betonter Nasolabialfalte. Besondere Beachtung verdient der Kronenansatz über den Schläfen. Die verzierten Flächen mit kleinen noppenartigen Kreisen weisen auf die Struktur der Blauen Krone hin. Diese Krone war allein dem König vorbehalten. Auch hier weist die Ausarbeitung der Details auf eine bereits existierende Statue hin. Aus: Jung, M., in: F.
