Description
Die Göttin Neith ist stehend wiedergegeben. Sie trägt die unterägyptische Krone, ein Collier und ein eng anliegendes Gewand. Auf dem Kleid ist ein Falke dargestellt, dessen Leib am Rücken anliegt, während seine Flügel den Körper der Göttin nach vorn hin umschließen. Zahlreiche Statuetten stammen aus Sais im Nildelta, dem bedeutendsten Kultort der Göttin. (J. Helmbold-Doyé)
