Description

Die Kopfstütze stammt aus einem Haus in Amarna, dessen Besitzer nicht bekannt ist. Sie diente als antikes Kopfkissen dazu, den Kopf und Nackenbereich des Schlafenden in Position zu halten. Angenehmer wurde dies für den Liegenden durch eine Umwicklung mit Stoff und Leder, welche heutzutage nicht mehr erhalten ist. (A. Weber)
