Description

Das Fayencegefäß ist das einzige seiner Art, welches in dem gesamten Werkstattkomplex P 47.1–3 gefunden wurde. Nur in der 18. Dynastie wurde das Material für die Fertigung solch kleiner Behältnisse gebraucht. Die einheitlich modellierte Wandungsdicke des Bechers ist deutlich an der langen Bruchkante erkennbar. Dies legt die Vermutung nahe, dass er auf einer Töpferscheibe geformt wurde. Aus: Wegner, E., in: F.
