Auf dem Ostrakon ist ein Arbeiter aus Deir el-Medine dargestellt: Nacht-em-Mut, der vor der Schlangengöttin Meret-seger betet. Die Scherbe ist eine Weihgabe an die Göttin, die vor allem in der zweiten Hälfte des Neuen Reiches als Schutzpatronin von Handwerkern und Künstlern verehrt wurde. (M. Jung)
