Description

Aus Achet-Aton sind zahlreiche Gefäßverschlüsse mit kleinen sowie großen Siegelabdrücken belegt. Im Zusammenhang mit hieratischen Gefäßaufschriften ermöglichten sie es, auf schnelle Weise Informationen wie zeitliche Angaben, Herkunft, Inhalt und Zielort von gehandelten Waren in Transportgefäßen zu übermitteln. So dienten sie als Informationsträger für praktisch-wirtschaftliche Zwecke. Nach: Breuer, S., in: F.
