Description

Zum Ausbohren der in Ägypten weit verbreiteten Steingefäße wurden Bohrköpfe aus hartem Sandstein oder Quarzit benutzt, die in einem hölzernen Schaft befestigt waren. Gewiß wurde auch noch zusätzlich Quarzit als Schleifmittel benutzt. Dieses Stück läßt noch deutlich die Schleifspuren erkennen und zeigt verschiedene Bohrformen.
