Description

In der altägyptischen Zeitrechnung wurden die Sonnenuhren für die Messung des Sonnenschattens genutzt. Sie wurden vom Morgen bis zum Mittag nach Osten ausgerichtet und dann nach Westen gedreht. Entscheidend für die exakte Messung war die waagrechte Ausrichtung der Uhren.
