Description
Die ledernen Zügel des Wagenlenkers erleichterten ihm das Lenken der Pferde, indem sie direkt zu den Trensen führten, welche sich im Maul der Tiere befanden. Zu unterscheiden ist dabei zwischen den beweglichen Trensen und den Gebissstangen. (A. Weber)
