Amphore (Miniature amphora)
Description
Die zweihenklige Amphore mit spitzem Boden und abgesetztem Hals stellt die am häufigsten belegte Form einer Amphore aus Amarna dar. Weil sie ohnehin schon dicht waren und zudem noch luftdicht verschlossen werden konnten, nutzte man sie für die Aufbewahrung von Lebensmitteln, wie z. B. Wein. (J. Jancziak)
