Armreif (Bracelet)
Description
Der an einer Seite offene, ovale Armreif wurde von Hermann Junker in einem sogenannten Tumulus, d. h. Rundgrab, im Friedhof von Toschke gefunden, das nur wenige Beigaben enthielt. Neben einer Kette ist ein zweiter Armreif gleicher Form dokumentiert, die womöglich paarweise getragen wurden. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein übliches Design, das in den Gräbern der nubischen Kultur gefunden wurde, die als C-Gruppe tituliert wird. (J. Helmbold-Doyé)
