Die Sammlung vereinigt Sprüche, die vor allem auf den Särgen dieser Zeit aufgeschrieben sind und teilweise als Vorläufer der Sprüche des Totenbuchs dienen. Die einzelne Zeile rechts mag eine Art Überschrift sein: "Du bist machtvoll, du bist gerechtfertigt gegenüber deinen Feinden." Die Wischspuren rechts auf dem Papyrus weisen darauf hin, dass der Papyrus abgewaschen und wiederverwendet wurde (Palimpsest).I. Müller
