A sacrifice that the king (and) Osiris, the Foremost of the Westerners, the Lord of Abydos, gives. May he give a funerary offering (of) bread (and) beer, beef, poultry (and) every beautiful (and) pure thing, from which a god lives, what the sky gives (and) what the earth produces (as well as) the sweet breath of the north wind for the Ka of the scribe of the great Cheneret complex, Sebekhotep, justified, the Lord of Reverence, whom the scribe of the great Cheneret complex, Senebeni, justified, and whom the lady of the house, Renesresu, justified, bore. He says: O living ones, you who are on the earth (= survivors), every lector priest, every scribe, <every> Wab-priest, every (high) official, you who will pass by this tombstone that I have made for the shadow(place) of my Ba, for the resting place of my shadow(-self): (If) you wish that your city gods praise you, you remain in your seats (= positions), you bequeath your offices to your children, you reach the afterlife in peace, you want to report to your wives about your campaigns, then (you should) say: “A sacrifice that the king (and) Osiris, the Lord of Busiris, the great god, the Lord of Abydos, gives. May he give a thousand loaves, a thousand (jugs of) beer, a thousand (times) beef, a thousand (times) poultry, a thousand of all things for the Ka of the scribe of the great Cheneret complex, Sebekhotep, justified, whom the scribe of the great Cheneret complex, Senebeni, justified, bore.” There is nothing that has come out of your (own) burial! There is no pain in the mouth of him who (speaks) it (aloud)! As for the one who will do what I say, I will be a protection of his health (and) a double protection for his children.

Ein Opfer, das der König (und) Osiris, der Vorderste der Westlichen, der Herr von Abydos, gibt. Er möge geben ein Totenopfer (aus) Brot (und) Bier, Rind, Geflügel (und) jeder schönen (und) reinen Sache, von der ein Gott lebt, das, was der Himmel gibt (und) das, was die Erde hervorbringt (sowie) den süßen Hauch des Nordwindes für den Ka des Schreibers der großen Cheneret-Anlage, Sebekhotep, gerechtfertigt, dem Herrn der Ehrwürdigkeit, den der Schreiber der großen Cheneret-Anlage, Senebeni, gerechtfertigt, zeugte, (und) den die Herrin des Hauses, Renesresu, gerechtfertigt, gebar. Er sagt: O Lebende, die auf der Erde Befindlichen (= Hinterbliebenen), jeder Vorlesepriester, jeder Schreiber, <jeder> Wab-Priester, jeder (hohe) Beamte, die ihr an diesem Grabstein vorbeigehen werdet, den ich gemacht habe zum Schatten(platz) meines Bas, zur Ruhestätte meines Schatten(-selbsts): (Wenn) ihr wünscht, dass euch eure Stadtgötter loben, ihr auf euren Sitzen (= Positionen) verweilt, ihr eure Ämter an eure Kinder vererben, ihr in Frieden (das Jenseits) erreichen, ihr euren Gemahlinnen von euren Feldzügen berichten wollt, so (sollt) ihr sagen: „Ein Opfer, das der König (und) Osiris, der Herr von Busiris, der große Gott, der Herr von Abydos, gibt. Er möge geben tausend Brote, tausend (Krüge) Bier, tausend (Mal) Rind(-fleisch), tausend (Mal) Geflügel, tausend von allen Dingen für den Ka des Schreibers der großen Cheneret-Anlage, Sebekhotep, gerechtfertigt, den der Schreiber der großen Cheneret-Anlage, Senebeni, gerechtfertigt, zeugte.“ Es ist kein Herausgegangenes aus eurem (eigenen) Begräbnis! Es gibt kein Leid im Mund dessen, der es (laut) ausspricht! Was den anbelangt, der dies machen wird, was ich sage, dem werde ich ein Schutz seiner Gesundheit sein (und) ein doppelter Schutz für seine Kinder.
