A sacrifice that the king and Osiris, the great god, the lord of Abydos, give. May he offer a funerary offering (consisting of) bread, beer, cattle, poultry, and all beautiful and pure things, from which a god lives, for the Ka of the god-signer of Abydos, Wenemi, whom the Wab-priest of Abydos, Idi, has begotten, whom the Wab-priest of Abydos, Nechti, has begotten, whom the lady of the house Senu-anch, the lady of provision, has borne. The god-signer of Abydos, Wenemi, the Justified, he says: Hail to you, Upuaut, who separates the sky from the earth, the jackal of Upper Egypt, who has come forth from the Nut! Your face glides forth on their thighs (?) in this your name of the jackal of Upper Egypt. Before you, the gods tremble in (your) anger in this your name of Upuaut. Before you, the gods tremble in (your) wrath in this 〈your name〉 of the "Heartbreaker." Before you, the lords at the head of the land tremble. Before you, the gods tremble in the great lordly house that is in Heliopolis. Lord of slaughter, with a high neck, who is (further) ahead of every (other) god (or: leader/example, more than any other god): You are strong in heaven and mighty on earth, without (your) opponent among the assembled gods. (You) Great one on the two ...?..., who carries the two uraei (??) of the two ladies (??), rest, Imiut(?), rest (??)! (You) who are at the front, more than all gods, may you recommend me, the Justified (?). May you see me among the Justified (?), whom you love. Ein Opfer, das der König und Osiris, der große Gott, der Herr von Abydos, geben. Möge er ein Totenopfer geben (bestehend aus) Brot, Bier, Rindern, Geflügel und allen schönen und reinen Sachen, wovon ein Gott lebt, für den Ka des Gottessieglers von Abydos, Wenemi, den der Wab-Priester von Abydos, Idi, gezeugt hat, den der Wab-Priester von Abydos, Nechti, gezeugt hat, den die Herrin des Hauses Senu-anch, die Herrin der Versorgtheit, geboren hat. Herr des Gemetzels, mit hohem Hals, der (weiter) vorn ist als jeder (andere) Gott (oder: Anführer/Beispiel, mehr als jeder andere Gott): Du bist stark im Himmel und mächtig auf der Erde, ohne dass es (d)einen Gegner unter den versammelten Göttern gibt. (Du) Großer auf den beiden ...?..., der die beiden Uräen (??) der beiden Herrinnen (??) trägt (??), Ruhe, Imiut(?), ruhe (??)!
