The commander of the troops and scribe of the temple of Chons Sched-su-Chonsu to the military tenant of Kush Pai-neb-en-adjed: In life-health-and-wellness and in the favor of Amun-Re, king of the gods, your perfect lord, that he may grant you life-health-and-wellness. Furthermore the following - I have now returned to Thebes, but I had told you: I will not let you cultivate the field anymore. Now see - my cohabitant, this lady of my household has said to me: Do not take this farmland out of the hands of Pai-neb-en-adjed. Transfer it to him (again). Let him cultivate it. When my letter reaches you, then give the farmland (again) your attention and do not neglect it. And you shall remove its reeds and cultivate it, and you shall grow vegetables on an arure of the farmland - there at the edge of the well. But if a man should dispute with you, then go to Ser-Djehuti, this scribe of the grain measuring of the Osiris temple and take this letter (with) in your hand. Truly - I have transferred my field to him (Pai-neb-en-adjed or Ser-Djehuti (?)) on the new land (Necheb-land) and my field on the flood land (Amam-land) likewise. Keep your letter safe, so that it can serve as testimony for you. It is for the one from Kush, Pai-neb-en-adjed.
